VIDEO: Cars and a bus struggle during Seattle’s recent snow storm

Bus loses traction on 11-22-10 in Seattle storm

In a late nomination for this particular blogger’s amateur YouTube video of the year a videographer found himself in a prime location during the recent snow storm in Seattle.  During this almost 6 minute clip car after car after car and then a big ol’ City bus lose traction and slide down John St. on Capitol Hill.

One could argue that the world might have been better served if the person getting all this glorious, “you probably shouldn’t try to drive this street covered in ice” footage would have went outside and helped; you know, flag down the drivers and tell them to find another way to get where they’re going.   But I would argue that if the clip gets over a million views than he made the right choice!  Sit back and enjoy all the slip-n-slide action:

At the very end you have a ringing endorsement for the emergency service personnel of Seattle.  Whoever was at the wheel of that firetruck knew what they were doing.  What a clip!
