While laying in a coffin at her own funeral, a young Filipino girl woke up – sending her parents and attendees into a state of commotion. The unbelievable scene was caught on video and has since made the internet rounds.
Via a report from PhilStar, the child had been suffering from a fever for days and was brought to a clinic for medical attention last Friday. Police Senior Inspector Heidil Teelan said, “During that time, the attending clinic personnel and physician confirmed that the young patient had no more pulse and was clinically dead last Saturday morning about 9 a.m.”
The parents then brought the child home and arranged for a funeral the following day.
At the funeral service neighbors of the child removed the cover of the coffin to arrange the body and they witnessed the head of the girl moving on its own. Attendees checked and confirmed she had a purse {pulse} and was alive.
The parents immediately gave her water and then took her to a clinic for a check-up. She was then brought home again – Teelan added, “We really can not make confirmation on the status of the girl but based on the observation of the police personnel I deployed it appears the girl remained in a state of comatose in their house.”
Nurses were said to have been sent to the home and the family is now seeking consultation from a “well-equipped” hospital in the area.
