Taylor Swift has converted her signature blonde locks into a new color for her new CoverGirl campaign “See You, Be You.”
She’s also sporting some interesting eye makeup, very smokey browns on the outer edges turning to silver on the inside edges. It looks like grown-up Taylor is experimenting a bit her style, going a bit outside her normal golden-curled, red-lipped, romantic sweetheart look.
She’s definitely got a lot to celebrate. The young singer pulled in $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012, putting her at the top of the Forbes’ “Highest Paid Stars under 30” list. (Interestingly enough, seven of the ten are musical artists, the other three are the Twilight Trilogy: Kristen Stewart (who topped the overall list for actresses) Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.
There’s also been a lot of talk about Taylor’s love life heating up lately because she was photographed hugging Patrick Schwarzenegger on the Fourth of July. There were even reports that Patrick was ordered by his Kennedy side of the family to stay away from Taylor, but all of these is really just speculation. UPDATE: Taylor IS seeing Conor Kennedy.
What is true is that Taylor does seem to be getting closer to the Kennedys in general these days. She admittedly has a fascination with them, and it was announced last Friday that she’ll be receiving the Ripple of Hope Award by Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.
Kerry Kennedy said in a statement:
“Taylor Swift’s dedication to advocacy at such a young age continues to inspire me, and I’m delighted to honor her as one of our 2012 Ripple of Hope Award recipients.
She cited Swift’s support for arts education and disaster-stricken communities, “and especially the compassion she’s shown as a proud defender against bullying and LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) discrimination,” as the motivations for the prize.
“As a young person, Taylor has already accomplished so much, and I look forward to watching all that she will do to help build a brighter, more peaceful world for us all.”
Taylor will receive the award this December in a ceremony to be hosted by Alec Baldwin.
Maybe she will end up with a Kennedy after all.
