Taylor Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy arrested, poses for hairtrulescent mug shot

Stranger Things Steve Conor Kennedy mug shot

With just a couple days left before the new year, we have a brand new contender for best celebrity mug shot of 2016 after Taylor Swift’s ex (and, oh yeah, Robert “Bobby” Kennedy’s grandson) Conor Kennedy looked (and acted) like a real life version of the hairtasticly handsome bully Steve from Stranger Things by getting into an early AM bar brawl in Colorado.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 AM Thursday morning in the parking lot of Bootsy Bellows in Aspen. Police officer Andy Atkinson responded to a call regarding bar patrons refusing to leave, and he was on the scene when a fight broke out between Conor (real name John Conor Kennedy) and another man.

From The Aspen Times:

Atkinson reported seeing Kennedy grab another man by his shirt, pull him down so he was bent over and hit him four or five times in the back of the head with his fists, [Aspen police Sgt. Rick] Magnuson said. Officers attempted to break up the fight, but Kennedy continued to try and attack the man, prompting police to try and restrain him, he said.

“Kennedy and I fell back on to the snow bank on the south side of (Hyman Avenue) where Kennedy attempted to pull away from me and stand up,” Atkinson wrote in his report. “I held on to Kennedy’s arms and rolled him over with assistance from a bystander on to his stomach.”

According to the report, Conor apologized to officer Atkinson later and indicated that the the fight started after the man called Conor’s friend “the f-word.”

“It was not clear which ‘f-word’ Kennedy was talking about,” Sgt. Magnuson said.

Conor barely had time to comb his hair before he was a free man again. Aspen Detective Jeff Fain told Radar Online “Kennedy was released with no bond. He was booked, fingerprinted and had his mugshot taken and was served with a summons, which is promise to appear in court. This is standard practice with our municipal court. There was no bond process. We feel like he will return.”

Conor’s next scheduled court date is February 22, 2017.
