Socialite Nancy Shevell to be Paul McCartney’s third wife
Sir Paul McCartney (of a little band called The Beatles) is soon to get hitched for the third time!
Both Paul McCartney’s camp and his now fiancee Nancy Shevell have confirmed to news sources that they are engaged. They fessed up about their upcoming nuptials after a friend spilled the news to People. The insider revealed Friday “Nancy and Paul are getting married. Ring and all — very exciting . . . They have the right chemistry. They’re both cool, chilled out, and optimistic.”
Nancy told the AP “It’s true. That’s all, but thank you. Have a good weekend.” Paul’s publicist Stuart Bell also confirmed that the engagement was on.
Which is a bite at Paul’s second wife Heather Mills, who made headlines during their divorce for being obsessed with Paul’s money, demanding even more after receiving a settlement of about $50 million.
51-year-old socialite Nancy Shevell has been dating Paul since 2007. They started seeing each other in the middle of Paul’s nasty divorce with Mills that left him $46.8 million less rich (plus $70,000 just for their daughter Beatrice.)
Paul lost his first wife Linda (who he was married to for 29 years) to breast cancer in 1998.
His soon-to-be third wife Nancy Shevell is a NYC socialite who is on the board of New York Metropolitan Transportion Authority, and VP of New England Motor Freight.
