Is Farrah Abraham going to be on Botched Season 2?
When Farrah Abraham tweeted the dramatic photos of her lip implant procedure gone wrong last week, we suggested that she get in touch with plastic surgeons Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow of E!’s Botched reality series to see if she could get a slot on the show’s second season premiering later this year. Well, it appears as though the former Teen Mom may have taken our advice!
From The Daily Mail:
When asked about Farrah on Thursday, Dr Dubrow indicated she’ll appear on the show, but wasn’t able to give any more details.
He told DailyMail.com: “We can’t talk about that but let’s assume that we may be involved with that at this point.”
“Maybe we have, maybe we will, but that’s something she may need help with.”
In case you missed it, Farrah Abraham posted photos on Twitter and Facebook on January 6 featuring her upper lip appearing to be extremely swollen. She seemed to foreshadow the potential new addition to her resume by captioning the photos on Facebook by writing, “Monday just got #Botched …. Oh boy never again La Jolla need a better doc like NOW #plasticsurgery girlsfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya.”
TMZ later revealed that the swelling was more than likely due to an allergic reaction to the anesthesia used in the procedure.
Farrah later spoke with Hollywood Life and clarified what happened:
I was attempting to put in a lip implant, but while being relaxed by medication, the doctor used a method I was allergic to and I had a massive attack and went to emergency room. The hospital doctors let the other doctor know what he should not have done. I am now on medicine for 5 days in order to clear up and heal my body from the attack. I never received the lip implant.
So Farrah never got the implant and is only dealing with an allergic reaction? If that’s the case, then I would assume her appearance on Botched might be limited to a consultation in which the good doctors tell her another surgical procedure is unnecessary and she should just wait for the swelling to go down.
Meanwhile, Farrah is maintaining her sense of humor about the whole thing, embracing all of the comparisons between her and Matt Groening Futurama cyclops Leela — including a retweet of this example of Photoshop awesomeness:

Botched, which we have previously stated is our favorite new reality show of 2014, will be back for a second season sometime in April on E!
