Pro-wrestler has no regrets over Romney/Ryan face tattoo

You win some and you lose some, and then sometimes you end up with a permanent face tattoo of said loss. Well, that happens if you’re independent pro-wrestler Eric Hartsburg from Michigan City, Indiana.

Hartsburg made headlines when he auctioned off some countenance real estate via eBay. According to Politico, he raised $5,000 in exchange for getting a Romney/Ryan logo tattoo on the side of his face. Some might think that there would be regret from Eric considering the outcome, but dude has none.

Hartsburg told Politico:

“I’m a tattoo guy, and it was something fun. I was trying to make politics fun. I didn’t change no lives; I’m no hero. But I shed blood for this campaign, and I’m glad to know that I did all that I could.”

Of course he was bummed that the men who will always be with him lost:

“Totally disappointed, man. I’m the guy who has egg all over his face, but instead of egg, it’s a big Romney/Ryan tattoo. It’s there for life.”

But, as both candidates reminded us over and over again during the seemingly endless campaign, America is a land of opportunity, and the 30-year-old is hoping to turn his notorious notoriety into future business propositions:

“I’m hoping this opens some other doors in the entertainment business.”

Sounds like Erico (stage name) is a guy whose glass is always half full, which goes well with a face half inked. America, the land of opportunity!

UPDATE: He has regrets, two weeks later.
