Beware of hitchikers: incestuous Bonnie and Clyde are still loose

When you have fun watching Bonnie and Clyde or Natural Born Killers, you can forget that this stuff actually happens.  In this developing modern crime case it appears that these incestuous fugitives are inspired by these romanticized grisly stories.

On July 30 Casslyn Welch threw wire cutters over the fence of Arizona State Prison to help successfully break out her fiance and cousin John McCluskey as well as his two buddies Daniel Renwick and Stacey Province.

The fugitives then headed north, ready to do anything to grasp at their tattered illusion of freedom. Daniel Renwick was arrested in Rifle, Colorado during a shootout with police officers, and in a gruesome turn, the charred bodies of  married couple Linda and Gary Haas were found in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

The others continued on with blood on their hands to Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park, where Stacey Province was caught with a gun and a hitchhiking sign. Shudder to think what would have happened to whoever might have picked him up.

Although the rest have been caught, the incestuous lovers John and Casslyn are continuing to evade police, and are believed to be heading toward Canada.

They seem to be moving through national parks, so cancel any day plans you had to Yellowstone or Glacier Parks – and don’t pick up any hitchhikers!
