PHOTOS VIDEO Meet Renee Graziano with VH1’s Mob Wives
VH1 is ready to launch their answer to Bravo’s popular Housewives franchise but with a seriously hard-core twist. Mob Wives, premiering April 17th, will follow the lives of four Staten Island ladies who all are connected via their husbands or father to the mob!
Last but nowhere freakin’ close to least in our Mob Wives cast member profiles is Renee Graziano. Renee is the daughter of Anthony “The Little Guy” Graziano, the reputed consigliere in the Bonanno crime family and the ex-wife of another mobster Hector Pagan Jr. Imagine Danielle Staub minus a sex tape and any filter at all and you still aren’t even close to Miss Graziano! Time to go to the mattresses one more time with our “connected” ladies from Staten Island. CLICK HERE to learn about her father’s position in the Bonanno crime family.
Here is Renee’s bio information via VH1:
Renee Graziano is the daughter of Anthony Graziano, who according to the Federal Government was a high ranking member of La Cosa Nostra. Renee grew up during the heyday of the mob — when things still fell off trucks and people still dropped off envelopes even when it wasn’t your birthday. Immersed in the culture since birth, she embraced the lifestyle as her own and became a “mob loyalist”. Renee eventually married (then divorced) Junior. Together they have one son, AJ.
When Renee was young her best friend was arrested and sentenced to many years behind bars. This was her first real introduction to prison, but unfortunately not her last. Thanks to a circle of friends living the street life, Renee has visited over 83 prisons and written hundreds of letters to comfort the many friends she had on “the inside.” This correspondence gave her the idea to turn her love of the “the life” into a greeting card company called JAIL MAIL.
Renee sometimes longs for the good old days, but thanks to her friends she is slowly starting to realize that this is not a life she wants her son to lead. She struggles to balance her allegiance to the street life with her hopes that her son will live a life free of it all.
Renee is hysterical, Renee is crazy, and Renee is drama, but she will be the first to give you the shirt off her back. Everyone and anyone who knows her, knows this.
83 prisons! Jail Mail!?! I’m guessing that “back in the day” Renee was one of the girls you best not stare at too long unless you were ready for a little walk and a little talk with one of her “friends.” VH1 has pieced together an introductory video for each of the four cast members. Here is Renee’s:
Here’s a few of the highlights from her introductory vid:
“We want our family to stay a unit. Maybe I don’t go about it you know the right way always. Having my son in prison at the age of four-years-old going to visit his father. I just want my family to stay together.”
“If you’re loyal you’re right. Loyalty is everything.”
“I’m saying fu*k this b*tch (fellow Mob Wives cast member Karen Gravano). What the f*ck is going to happen when we see each other.”
Cosa Nostra is what members of the Mafia refer to themselves as which is roughly translated as, “our thing.” Well our thing is about to become part of reality TV’s thing and that mixture should be both entertaining and explosive. BOOM!
