PHOTOS & VIDEO Meet Briana Cuoco, Kaley Cuoco’s sister and new contestant on The Voice

Who is Briana Cuoco

During Monday’s premiere of The Voice, host Carson Daly revealed aspiring star Briana Cuoco already has celebrity support: Her sister is Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco!

Briana’s audition behind the chairs of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green hasn’t aired yet, but it doesn’t take much digging to learn the singer is seriously talented. Take a listen to her powerful version of Dock of the Bay

Even though she’s looking to make it big with The Voice, Briana released her debut album, Bluebird, earlier this year. It is described as, “Perfectly balancing Indie influence and the catchy aspects of Pop, the self-titled album is amazing. Made up of five unique tracks, the EP combines breathtaking vocals and flawless musical composition.”

Although it hasn’t been widely circulated, Bluebird has received rave reviews on iTunes.

“Wow, I’ve NEVER written a review on anyone’s music! I’m obsessed with her voice! Just amazing,” one fan wrote.

In addition to singing, Briana has comedic acting chops — just like her sister! She stars as cousin Mary Bennet in The Lydia Bennet, a popular web series inspired by Jane Austen’s fictional Bennet family.

Briana also popped up in some cameo roles on The Newsroom, The Mentalist and — you guessed it! — The Big Bang Theory. She even helped her sister choreograph Big Bang‘s flash mob, which went viral on YouTube last year.

With her music, appearances on the show and choreography skills, Bri won over Kaley’s Big Bang co-stars.

“She is a great a lot of things,” Jim Parsons told Access Hollywood of Briana. “We give Kaley a lot of hell, like, ‘Oh, so finally the world is going to see the really talented Cuoco!’ Which is not true — we just want to give her s–t!”

Mayim Bialik added, “She has a beautiful voice. She is phenomenal. She’s very, very talented.”

Tune into The Voice on NBC again tonight at 8/7c.
