PHOTOS Paris Jackson stuns at first public event in years
Michael Jackson would be proud: Two years after her suicide attempt, 17-year-old Paris Jackson returned to the public scene on Thursday evening looking absolutely fantastic.
Paris was at Spring Awakening‘s opening night at the Deaf West Theater in Beverly Hills. She was joined by boyfriend Chester Castellaw, who is said to be very popular with Paris’ family.
“The Jackson family actually really, really likes Chester and they have done a thorough check on him and his family,” an insider told Radar Online earlier this month. “They are not going to let just anyone steal the heart of their precious baby-girl.”
The source added the Jacksons’ really like Chester, an up-and-coming soccer star, because he keeps Paris “healthy, sober and away from the Hollywood drama.”
The family’s only concern reportedly is that Paris and Chester, 18, are moving too fast — especially after he recently purchased her a promise ring.
“They are both so young,” the source said. “There is no way that Paris’ family would allow an engagement to happen.”
Besides, Paris is keeping busy enough these days by preparing for the titular role in Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys. Here’s the IMDb synopsis: “Ancient sea-magic turns a dolphin into a human, an evil spell changes a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a once good and loving jellyfish queen becomes an evil fairy godmother. This story, filled with adventure after adventure uses family love and the magic of belief as weapons to fight a war between the land and the sea.” The movie is due for release in 2017.
