In “the actual story couldn’t possibly live up to its headline” news, according to online records, Michelle and Jim Bob’s oldest daughter Jana Duggar recently purchased a former tattoo parlor and boy piercing shop in Springdale, Arkansas.
Jana Duggar paid $95,000 for the commercial property in April of this year. Located at 709 W. Emma Ave. in Springdale, the building was the home of Phoenix Rising Tattoos and Body Piercing for ten years.

Obviously, Jana will not be reopening a tattoo parlor and/or body piercing shop (***SIGH***), but the purchase will certainly have folks speculating as to what Jana (and the Duggar family) have planned. Could it be a fashion retail shop featuring clothes handmade by the Duggar ladies? A midwife business? A Duggar thrift store? An abstinence ring shop? Or could it just be a commercial “flip” as part of Jana’s new Duggar Upper spin-off series?
Since the property was purchased in April, I’m guessing we will know sooner rather than later! Stay tuned.
