PHOTOS Girls’ Generation retro-sexy James Bond posters for ‘Hoot!’
I have to confess that I don’t know much about Girls’ Generation outside of their worldwide smash hit “Gee,” but I ran across these outrageously fun and sexy James-Bond-inspired posters promoting the bands third mini-album “Hoot” and just had to post them!
The posters feature the members of the band toting weapons and wearing thigh-high go-go boots in front of psychadelic geometric backgrounds – sort of like a collection of good and bad spies from a South Korean Austin Powers movie!

Not being one to skimp out on my journalistic duties, I did do some research on this band of gals and here’s what I came up with…
Girls’ Generation (소녀시대; 少女時代) is an all-female group (duh!) from South Korea formed in 2007 that also go by the name SNSD, which is an acronym for their Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae. The group has released two full-length albums titled Girls’ Generation (repackaged as Baby Baby) and Oh! (repackaged as Run Devil Run) as well as three mini-albums titled Gee, Tell Me Your Wish and Hoot!
“Gee” was released in 2009 and put the group on the international pop music map. Here’s a Youtube clip of the song:
