Selena Gomez turned on her sense of humor Monday night at the Getaway premiere in LA by poking a little fun at her fellow former Disney star Miley Cyrus.
When you forget about the twerking, the grinding, the humping, the (lack of) outfits and possible racism, Miley’s now signature tongue moves at Sunday night’s MTV VMAs were what really “stuck out.”
Miley jokes aside, Getaway is Selena’s second serious acting role after Spring Breakers. She stars opposite acting giants Ethan Hawke and Jon Voight in a suspenseful kidnapping plot directed by Courtney Solomon. It seems like acting is what the 21-year-old pop star wants to focus on for now on. She recently told reporters that Stars Dance “is my last record for a while. I’m going to tour it and then I’m going to just kind of get into acting for a really long period of time, hopefully.” She did add with a chuckle “I’m a woman so I change my mind all the time.”
