Christian bale combover new film

Christian Bale looks unrecognizable on the set of his new movie, an untitled David O. Russell film, but this isn’t the first time the actor has drastically changed his appearance for a role.

He’s previously lost huge amounts of weight for The Fighter and The Machinist. For the 2004 film The Machinist, he whittled away 63 pounds in just four months by subsisting on just apples, coffee, and cigarettes.

In this latest film, which also stars Amy Adams, Bale plays a con man turned FBI agent. Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and (my favorite) Louis C.K. also have roles.

Melissa McCarthy’s comedy tops box office after critic slams her weight

Funny lady Melissa McCarthy is leading not only this weekend’s box office, but securing the top box office of 2013 with Identity Thief, which also stars Jason Bateman.

This victory is particularly sweet after a scathing review of the movie, AND of Melissa’s body became viral. Rex Reed of The Observer called McCarthy “tractor-sized,” a “hunk of junk,” a “female hippo,” and a “screeching, humongous creep.”

Ice Road Truckers’ Tim Zickuhr allegedly kidnapped, assaulted a prostitute named Snow White

Former Ice Road Truckers star Tim Zickhur is in a whole heap of legal trouble after he allegedly kidnapped and beat up a prostitute from Las Vegas named Snow White whom he thought took out too much money for her services with his ATM card. He then called Snow White’s friend, who happened to be a cop, and demanded $1,000 ransom. I’m sure this story will be in theaters soon and will either star Zach Galifianakis, or be directed by the Cohen Brothers, or both.
