MUG SHOTS Former NFL receiver Titus Young arrested twice in 15-hour span

Mug shots Titus Young

If your fantasy football team had points for arrests, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young would have to be considered a sure fire first rounder! In a 15-hour span, Young managed to get booked twice in Southern California on Sunday.

At 12:01 Sunday morning, Young was pulled over after he made an illegal left turn. He was then arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, booked by the Moreno Valley Police, issued a citation and released.

Titus had his black Mustang impounded during the episode and went on an ill-advised and illegal quest to retrieve it. At 2:22 P.M. on that same day, officers responded to a call from an area tow yard about someone hopping the fence. This person of interest turned out to be Young.

Young was then arrested for burglary and got booked again at the exact same detention center. I wonder if the photo-taker was pulling a double and had a case of déjà vu when Young reappeared for yet another mug shot?

Young was a 2011 second round draft pick for the Lions out of Boise State University. He had multiple issues while in Detroit where things got so bad the team put him on injured reserve sans any injuries and asked him to stay away from their facilities. He was later released and is currently a free agent.

Playing on Sundays, you’re doing it wrong…
