Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s road to nuptial bliss has been a bit of a bittersweet rollercoaster. The season’s trailer showed MJ saying she might cancel her wedding, and she tragically lost her father before the big day this April. Now MJ and husband Tommy Fieght are trying to start a family as soon as possible.
The latest episode of Shahs showed a tearful MJ breaking down while trying on wedding dresses because she had hoped that her dad would recover to be able to walk her down the aisle.
KJ met her now-husband Tommy Feight on Tinder. They got engaged in 2015, and finally tied the knot this April in a beautiful ceremony. Reza was her man of honor and one of her Chihuahuas served as a ring bearer. Now the happy couple’s main focus is starting their own family, and they need a little medical intervention because Mercedes is 45-years-old.
This May, a month after their wedding, Mercedes posted a vide of herself in a surgical gown to her Instagram stories. In the clip her doctors explains: “We’re ready for some surgery and we are ready to make [your] uterus look perfect and get ready for babies.”
A few days ago her doctor Shahin Ghadir tweeted a #TBT pic of that time, explaining that she had undergone uterine polyps removal at that time to get her ready for embryo implantation.

“We’re almost done, so fingers crossed we’ll be starting a family in the near future,” she told PageSix. “The biggest message to women on this journey is to find a good support network or support group or people who have gone through it and talk about it because it’ll probably feel better the more questions you ask.”
