LuAnn deLesseps wants to be the next Kim Zolciak; records a dance single “Money Can’t Buy Class”

Us Weekly's 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers Celebration

Kim Zolciak needs to buy herself an extra fancy bottle of wine tonight and a new skin-tight dress to celebrate, because all the Real Housewives want to be her, including New York Mistress of Decorum LuAnn deLesseps.

LuAnn, who literally wrote the book on class, recently admitted that she’s already written and recorded a dance single called “Money Can’t Buy Class.” She also made it clear that she does not want to duet with Kim Zolciak (but does want to work with Akon). In fact, the title of the song sounds like a diss to Kim, but at the same time it’s following in Kim’s footsteps.

No one’s heard this thing yet, so it’s still to be determined if it’s a hit or miss. The Countess (she’ll always be The Countess) is savvy, so she probably featured it in the new season of RHONYC. Take notes, Gretchen. The success of this song on depends on how catchy the tune is, how many drag queens will use it in their stage show, and how many New Jersey parties she’s willing to host. If everything comes together, it may very well be the next “(Don’t Be) Tardy to the Party,” which, incidentally could be a chapter title of LuAnn’s next manners book. In Housewivesland everything is connected.
