The fallout continues from the epic no-show epidemic at The Real Housewives of Orange County newbie Lizzie Rovsek’s birthday party, which ended up being just Lizzie and Vicki Gunvalson after Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge both called at the last minute to cancel.
In case you missed it, Tamra has reportedly been fired from the show after her Facebook posts that included a lengthy anti-Bravo rant (click here to read it in its entirety) as well as a text message exchange with Lizzie Rovsek that Tamra says proves her last-minute cancellation was just a product of editing. The only problem was, the screen cap initially posted by Tamra included Lizzie’s cell phone number!
Tamra has since deleted her Facebook page and left the country for a much-needed vacation in Mexico, but Lizzie Rovsek continues to respond to the birthday no show as well as Tamra posting her phone number. Lizzie posted a graphic that read, “Even the nicest people have their limits,” and she added this message:
It’s important to stand up for what’s right. Everyone has a limit with how much they can or will put up with. We are all human. Amidst the hundreds of calls & texts flooding my phone yesterday, the silver lining was how sweet, supportive & kind all the messages were. My family is my life and anything directed towards my children or my family is way below the belt. Today I will continue to cultivate kindness, love my friends & family, and continue to stand up for what is right. Wishing everyone an awesome day ♥ #meanpeoplesuck
Lizzie continued her scenic trip on the high road with another text graphic, this time a Margaret Mitchell quote: “The liar was the hottest to defend his veracity, the coward his courage, the ill-bred his gentlemanliness, and the cad his honour.”
A commenter named Paige wrote a lengthy response questioning why Lizzie was so upset at Tamra and not cast mate Shannon Beador, who also called to cancel at the last minute:
Really sad all this nastiness. Lizzie you seem so sweet but the bus scene I just watched was upsetting. You hop on the bus ready to go then get a call from Shannon who is sick and Tamra who has a sick daughter but you and Vicki start talking nasty about Tamra and she could have come!!! Why were you only upset about Tamra not coming and was this a set up as who calls and cancels last minute like that. She has her daughter 50% of the time, her children should come first. I think Shannon was the one who just didnt want to come. Just be careful on this show as it wont be long and you will be the bad guy!!!! Each season it is someone else. Watch Vicki as Tamra and her sorted things out then Vicki started on her in the bus. Not a good idea to cancel any events as soon as one of you is missing that person is the topic of NASTY conversation.
Lizzie’s response seems to suggest that she doesn’t buy Tamra’s sick daughter story:
I think you should watch it again. I never said anything bad about Tamra. I was not even mad at her. I told her my feelings were hurt. There is a difference. Sorry, my feelings were hurt what can I say… Btw Vicki wasn’t the only one who 1) warned me about her 2) that said she didn’t want to come.
Meanwhile, Radar Online is reporting that Lizzie Rovsek is not returning for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 either. As in 90% of all Radar Online Real Housewives inside source casting rumors, the reason is because Lizzie is boring.
In contrast, fellow Housewives rookie Shannon Beador has apparently guaranteed herself a sophomore season. “Fans love Shannon because she is a bit of an airhead, likes to drink and party, and is a hot mess,” Radar’s insider explains. “She doesn’t care what others think about her, and producers want to cast women with similar personality traits.”
It should be pointed out that Rumor Fix says the Tamra Judge firing report is completely bogus. “Tamra has not been fired,” their source says. “She is being begged back for next season. The rumor she is fired is a lie.”
