Thanks to record shopper Chris Ward the world now has two brand new Arcade Fire songs to listen to! Chris was in a Glasgow record store when he saw what appeared to be a new double-A-side, white-label 12″ vinyl single from the critically acclaimed Canadian group Arcade Fire. Here is a photo of the lucky find from Pitchfork:
Needless to say, the record turned out to be legit! The two tracks on the record, “The Suburbs” and “Month of May,” made it into the hands of Zane Lowe, who played them on BBC Radio 1 earlier today. Just in case listeners were slow to react with their audio recorders the first time around, Zane spun the songs a second time and of course they have since made their way on to the internet!
