Kendra Wilkinson is determined to come out on top in her potential split from husband Hank Baskett.
“Kendra’s a really smart girl. She knows how the business works and she knows how to make lemonade out of lemons,” a source told Radar Online of the former Playboy star, who is filming her relationship crisis for her WE tv show.
Because Hank was the one allegedly caught cheating with a transexual model in June, Kendra knows the ball is now in her court.
“The fate of their marriage pretty much lies solely in Kendra’s hands right now. She loves him, but she’s not sure she can get over the betrayal,” said the source. “Number one for Kendra is her family. Ultimately she will do what’s best for her kids and that might be keeping their father around. She doesn’t know yet… The decision to end her marriage is not something she’s taking lightly.”
Still, another source told People that divorce looks increasingly likely.
“She’s definitely had conversations with divorce lawyers about everything from finances to custody. It’s just a matter of time,” said the insider, adding Kendra and Hank are living in the same home but keeping different bedrooms.
Kendra is also keeping her social life separate from him — as evidenced by her trip to a Hollywood lounge with a group of girlfriends this week.
“Kendra had a couple of drinks… She was being social and dancing,” said the source who noted Robin Thicke and rapper Too Short said hello. “It was a super fun night, but nothing too crazy.”
