Lil Wayne had to make an emergency landing in his private jet yesterday after experiencing seizure-like symptoms. The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was taken to a local hospital in Texas as soon as his plane touched down where he was treated and later released.
In the past Lil Wayne has struggled with an addiction to sizzurp, but there’s no information if that or any other drugs and alcohol had anything to do with you.
According to TMZ, he was kept at the hospital for several hours but left the building around 6:00 pm. There is no word on an exact diagnosis but sources say he is “doing better” now.
We don’t yet know where he was coming from or where he was heading and the rapper has been silent on Twitter since Wednesday when he wrote, “Playing Madden and the players are really wearing pink 4 breast cancer! too kool.”
Earlier this week, Lil Wayne sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning at the San Francisco Giants vs St. Louis Cardinals game in San Francisco.
