Kim Richards sued by friend who claims she was also attacked by pit bull Kingsley
Last week, Kyle Richards revealed daughter Alexia Umansky was hospitalized after being attacked by a pit bull — who was later confirmed to be Kim Richard’s dog, Kingsley. According to sources close to the sisters, Animal Control was never contacted and Kyle didn’t want to take any action against Kim or the dog. However, another person who also claims she was attacked by Kingsley is taking the opportunity to sue Kim.
Kay Rozario, the woman Kim describes as her “second mother,” told TMZ on Friday that she was also bitten by Kingsley back in March. She said she was in Kim’s bedroom when Kingsley suddenly bit her hand “all the way to the bone.” She said the dog also lunged for her face, but she managed to protect herself with her arm.
Even though she was significantly injured, Kay said Kim begged her not to tell anyone. She said Kim specifically said, “Please don’t tell anyone. I’ll lose my show.”
Although they had to call paramedics, Kay agreed not to alert Animal Control.. But she’s speaking out now because she says Kim hasn’t helped with any of her medical bills. She is suing Kim to cover the medical expenses.
Kim told People Kay’s story is “not true,” but went on to basically confirm it is true…
“Her details of what happened [the morning of the incident] are vehemently not true, she walked into my bedroom the next morning reaching across Kingsley towards me and Kingsley went after her,” Kim said in a statement. “In the past Mrs. Razario has sold multiple stories involving my family and myself and was paid for her participation in a book about my family.”
Nonetheless, she told Page Six she is now considering other options for Kingsley.
“As many of you can relate, he is my best friend,” she said. “This is a very difficult decision and time for all of us, but the safety of my family always comes first.”
Sources close to the family say Kingsley has now attacked five people.
