Police in multiple states are still looking for Jenelle Evans’ ex-boyfriend Joshua Miller after he reportedly stole a car earlier this month with a three-year-old girl inside before abandoning the toddler in the middle of the street. Since that incident, the stolen car has allegedly been found in Florida, and Josh found himself involved in a police chase in Georgia–one that resulted in a head-on collision and a young man being hospitalized with serious injuries.
The Georgia crash occurred early Monday morning in Richmond Hill, just south of Savannah. Josh was apparently driving the wrong way down a one-way street with his headlights off when he collided head on with 21-year-old Kwame Middleton, who was driving home from work. “At the moment, like the moment right before it happened, all I could think was I’m about to die,” Kwame told WTOC. “And then I blacked out, and then I woke up.”
Kwame’s mother, Monica Middleton, said, “Thankfully I saw my son before I saw the vehicle. Because if I saw the vehicle first, I don’t … just by seeing the vehicle you’d think that he didn’t survive.”
Middleton was rushed to Memorial University Medical Center, treated for a knee and neck injury. And the bills will keep coming for the 21-year-old, who lost his car and his ability to go to his brand new job.
At the time, Georgia police said they believed Josh was injured, but still managed to run from the crash site. He was last seen near the A-1 Motel on U.S. 17.
And, yesterday, WECT reported that a car believed to have been stolen by Josh in Richmond Hill was recovered near his hometown in North Carolina, where all of this began two weeks ago:
Joshua Brandon Miller is accused of stealing a vehicle from Richmond Hill, GA, earlier this week. The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department recovered the vehicle at approximately 1:45 a.m. this morning on Filmore Road.
