It’s no secret that Courtland Rogers has had his fair share of trouble over the years. After battling drug addiction, the ex-husband of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was recently in the spotlight after being featured in a documentary about heroin.
Nowadays, things seemed to be going well for Courtland. Not only was he reunited with his daughter, we reported he’s expecting a new baby with his current girlfriend.
Courtland shared his gratitude for living the sober life, saying, “I have struggled with addiction my whole life and this year I have overcome the feel.. I have gained my life back and I have conquered drugs.”
Unfortunately, though, it appears as though his troubles may be back, after he reached out to his ex, Jenelle, for help.
In a slew of tweets, Courtland confessed he’s, “Depressed as Fu&k today…..” and later went on to say “@PBandJenelley_1 I need to talk to u…. BAD !!!! Asap if u only knew how much hearing your voice right now would save me ….please call me.”
Followers of Courtland pleaded with the recovering addict to call his sponsor and get help. They were also up front with their disapproval of his attempt to bring Jenelle back into his life.
There’s no way to know for sure why Courtland is reaching out to his ex, but it’s clear he’s been reminiscing about their old life together. Just a day before he tweeted the ominous messages above, Courtland posted a picture of he and Jenelle during happier times:
Despite the efforts to get her attention, Jenelle hasn’t responded publicly to Courtland pleas. Instead, she’s been focused on sharing happy moments from Halloween with current beau David Eason.
She did take some time to answer a question about Nathan and the likelihood of a reconciliation. Her answer: “No, and never again.”
While it may seem strange that Courtland is reaching out to Jenelle, it’s not so far-fetched when you consider the relationship she keeps with her exes. Remember when she was spotted out with Keiffer after her split from Nathan?
Whatever is going on with Courtland–and Jenelle, for that matter–we hope he gets the help he needs to continue making healthy choices in his life.
