Thanks to the overwhelming popularity and huge success of the Fixer Upper crew’s annual Silobration, it looks like Chip and Joanna are angling to get the Magnolia Silos events calendar a little bit more crowded. And what better time of year for a big Fixer Upper-themed festival than the Christmas holidays? Well, starting this year, you and yours can head on down to Waco and celebrate Christmas at the Silos!
Based on the initial information, it seems like fans of the standard Silobration formula will have a lot to look forward to. Christmas at the Silos looks to be everything that Fixer Upper devoteés have come to expect from a Magnolia production, but with the added benefit of Christmas fun times thrown on top. What does that mean, exactly? Feast your eyes:
Help us celebrate the Christmas season by joining us at the Magnolia Silos December 9th and 10th for all-day family fun! We’ll have plenty of activities for visitors of all ages, including pictures with Santa, live reindeer, bakery treats, shopping and a nighttime concert featuring Shane and Shane, Phil Wickham and Micah Tyler!
All Christmas at the Silos events, with the exception of the three concerts, are free. That means no charge at all for the food truck brigade, pictures with Santa Claus, a reindeer petting zoo (!), and, of course, a craft fair! Those events will run all day on both Friday and Saturday, from 8 AM to 4 PM. After that, just $20 gets you back in the door for the music, which will run from 5 to 10 PM. And, yes, the rumors are true: the always-swamped Magnolia Bakery will debut its very own food truck at the festival, after which it will presumably be available for all future Magnolia Silos events!
You can read the full Christmas at the Silos rundown, courtesy of Magnolia Market, right here. Tickets for the Friday, December 9th show are available here; tickets for the Saturday, December 10th show are available here.
And, just for good measure, here’s a trio of songs by the featured acts, to get you in that Magnolia mood:
