Disgraced Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle accused of leading ‘freaky’ double life, saying preteen girls ‘are hot’

Jared Fogle Investigation

After longtime Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle’s home was raided by federal agents investigating a child pornography case last week, Fogle’s representative said nothing was turned up to incriminate Jared. Nonetheless, Subway’s ties with Jared are still suspended and The Jared Foundation remains shuttered.

Even though the FBI still hasn’t confirmed whether Fogle was (or is) under investigation, more allegations about what he did in his personal life are emerging.

“He went from a no-one to a hero over night and got tremendous amounts of attention,” an insider told Radar Online, explaining Fogle “thrived on the attention.”

As his role as a Subway spokesperson and childhood obesity prevention advocate expanded, the insider said Jared continued to frequent strip clubs — and didn’t hesitate to take advantage of his celebrity status.

“He traveled all over the world and all over the United States for conventions,” the source said. “After the conventions, [he] would go out partying to strip clubs… He’s a little freaky. He’d spend every night in a strip a club if he could.”

In addition to his alleged strip club visits, sources previously revealed Jared “ran a very successful p0rnography rental company out of his bedroom” in college.

As an insider said in 2007, “His p0rn collection was vast and extensive, and Fogle took his business pretty seriously. A video would run a patron a dollar a day (cheap!), and people would come from all over to take advantage of the deal. Needless to say, Jared had enough p0rn to keep his customers happy.”

Years later, Fogle’s first wife filed for a restraining order during their divorce. One insider said that was because Jared “became controlling and had a mean streak.” Another said, “He was a real jerk to his ex-wife. I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to marry him.”

Another jarring revelation comes straight from a woman who tipped off the FBI about the new investigation. Speaking to WWSB last week, the anonymous former journalist said Jared made a number of inappropriate comments to her throughout the 10 years they interacted. Among other things, she said Jared said multiple times that “middle school girls are hot.” She said, “They weren’t jokes. They were very serious.”

She explained she contacted the FBI and then agreed to wear a wire to record her conversations. According to her, the information she gathered is what led to the search of Fogle’s home.

Even though the FBI confirmed that the woman is the one who provided them with key information, Jared’s attorney dismissed her claim as “an unrealistic fabrication.”
