Did Matt Blashaw leave Yard Crashers? Yard Crashers host Chris Lambton fills in
Did Matt Blashaw leave Yard Crashers? The DIY fan favorite and long-term replacement for equally popular Ahmen Hassan has stepped away from the camera, turning the show over to only its third host in eight years.
Fortunately, alarmed fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Matt has only left the show to, in his own words, “take a break” and work on his off-camera real estate business:
Hi folks, I am taking a bit of a break again from here to focus on my real estate biz. You can find me here: https://t.co/X7wnD6OACp

Matt’s real estate doings, centered in Orange County, appear to be thriving, if his official Facebook page is any indication. However, when recently asked by a Yard Crashers fan if he intended to come back to the show he helmed for three years, Matt did indeed leave the door open for a triumphant return:
Of course, it’s not all work, all the time down in the OC, as the frequent social media updates of both Matt and girlfriend, artist Lori Gilbert, can attest đ
In the meantime, the show is in good hands. Former Bachelorette contestant Chris Lambton, no stranger to landscaping wonders thanks to his time on HGTV’s Going Yard and Blog Cabin, among other shows, has taken the reins. (And, if you live in the greater Cape Cod MA area, you can even have Chris bring his expertise and landscaping crew to your house for a consultation.)
You can follow Chris on Twitter here, and on Instagram here.
New episodes of Yard Crashers air Mondays at 10 on DIY Network.
