90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After star Colt Johnson returns to TLC tonight as he joins his mother Debbie on the network’s popular Pillow Talk after show. But, according to new reports, Colt might be returning to the network on one of the franchise’s main series!
Rumors began circulating this week that Colt has already finished filming with a new woman from Brazil. We reached out to a production source who has always provided us with accurate “evuhdense” for our 90 Day Fiance binder. Our source tells us that he/she heard the same thing — that Colt has already completed filming with a woman — including scenes on location in Brazil!
Our source did not provide specifics, but it has me fairly confident that the report is true. Another factor making the report believable is that Colt has been openly dating a woman from Brazil named Jess Caroline for months. The two have been quite lovey-dovey online — up until last week when they apparently had some sort of falling out.

It’s still unclear what show Colt is filming for. Despite the fact that Jess is from Brazil, she currently lives in the United States. That would seem to make it difficult to fit their relationship on 90 Day Fiance or Before the 90 Days. And The Other Way is incredibly unlikely because there’s no way Colt is going to try to pretend he is thinking about moving to Brazil to be with Jess when he wouldn’t even move out of the house he shared with his mother for Larissa! Right?
That leaves Happily Ever After? TLC bent over backwards to bring back Molly and Luis, even though no one really believed they were trying to give their relationship another go. They also kept Danielle and Mohamed on the show well after their relationship was completely over. Having Colt and/or Larissa come back to Happily Ever After would certainly be a first for the show in that it has never followed the story of one of the cast members becoming single and dating again. The concept is flexible enough to allow for it, but it would be a first. (They brought Darcey back to Before the 90 Days, but they kept her story within the conceptual parameters by creating a British caricature for her to date.)
We’re also told that Larissa is working with TLC. Once again, we don’t have any details. She was dating her rebound beau Eric Nichols for roughly eight months before the two of them broke up last week. (The timing of Larissa’s and Colt’s break ups is a little suspicious.) There are reports that Eric is buddying up to Colt now, so that does seem like a way to tie their story lines together and create a reason for Colt and Larissa to yell at each other for the cameras.
Speaking of Larissa and Eric’s break up, things continue to escalate after Larissa first shared the news with a seemingly innocent announcement on Instagram. Apparently, Eric found out about the break up the same way the rest of us did, and he was NOT HAPPY about it. This is the final reasoning why my most recent X lost her cool and made an abrupt, rash decision to break up which is A-ok with me. After posting this to my story, she DM’d me via Instagram very upset, accusing me that I didn’t invite her, so on and so forth, although if most fans remember, she herself had been sharing excitement in her stories over the upcoming Colorado trip for the past couple months and was literally talking with one of my brothers about it THE NIGHT BEFORE.
When I had put my phone down to shower and show my house to a future tenant, I got a call from my mother about an hour later asking “are you doing okay?” And she said “I saw a post from :&@:% on FB that you’re parting ways.” I didn’t think much of it and said “I’m not sure, I haven’t seen it yet, but will soon. We’ll be okay, these arguments happen between us often.” Like when she archives our photos from Instagram when she’s upset.

Continuing my conversation with mother “Debbie/Duke” for another 20-30 minutes, not realizing when we got off the phone, I’d be going back to my DM’s to find multiple messages from my X stating a finalized break up on her now terms. From there, I realized I was blocked and the apology DM’s were already packed. Here’s the thing…. lots of fabrication, secrets, stress, endless arguments, and hoops that turned into spirals, but there were some high level times.
I don’t wish this girl good luck or bad luck, I just wish her a new boyfriend…. or husband. In the history of an 8 month ordeal I am appreciative of certain outcomes. All in all, I do want to give a big shout out to the haters who are instigator traders that balance out the positives. Lastly, I want to give a monstrous THANK YOU TO ALL supportive friends who follow with love&synergy! ?❤️
So what do you think about Colt (and possibly Larissa) returning for another season? I know both of them have a LOT of detractors, but unlike some of the franchise’s villains, I believe that most fans find them entertaining to watch. If show writers are able to script some way to have Colt and Larissa argue with each other once (or twice) more, while also being able to film Colt traveling to Brazil to “meet the parents,” then this will almost certainly be yet another ratings success story for Sharp Productions and for TLC. And it will also be a VERY hot topic on social media!
