Did Bethenny Frankel have plastic surgery?
From her first dabble in reality TV on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart to her current starring role on The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel’s appearance has certainly changed over the years. Recently, some have begun speculating that she’s has major reconstructive surgery to alter her pronounced jaw line.
Bethenny is finally speaking out about what exactly she has and has not done when it comes to going under the knife.
“I have not had invasive plastic surgery, I have not had a nose job, ” she confirms to The Daily Mail. So what’s changed to make her face, and specifically her jaw, look so different?
Botox.
“I’ve had Botox in my jaw. You can see that my jaw has completely changed,” Bethenny confessed. “About three years ago, my dermatologist said to me, why don’t we try injecting your jaw because it’s so tense.”
According to Bethenny, her large jaw was a result of years of grinding her teeth. “It’s like a muscle, it’s like working out with weights.” The use of a night guard has also helped.
The botox seems to have worked because it’s apparent that her jaw line has gotten significantly smaller. Bethenny says she loves her new look, and it’s enabled her to get away with short hair.
Her explanation makes total sense. After all, why lie about it? Bethenny has built her reputation on being a straight shooter. On the other hand, I’m not doctor. What do you think?
Is Bethenny’s new look a result of minor botox injections or do you think she’s had major work done?
