Controversial Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson regains 20 lbs. to land at ‘perfect weight’

Rachel Frederickson - Biggest Loser After

Biggest Loser‘s Rachel Frederickson set the Internet on fire in February when she stepped out at the finale looking drastically thinner than when she left the ranch. The scale revealed she weighed 105 lbs.

“Her legs were painfully thin… It was really sad actually. She’s literally just bones,” said The Ashley‘s Ashley Majeski, who attended the live show.

At the time, Rachel dismissed concerns for her health.

“I am extremely proud of the way I lost the weight on the show. I did everything so naturally,” she said after the finale.

After three weeks, Rachel mostly stood by her comments — but admitted she may have been “too enthusiastic” about weight loss.

Now, nearly two months after she won the $250,000 grand prize for losing the greatest percentage of body weight, Rachel has stabilized at 125 lbs.

Speaking to Us Magazine this week, the 24-year-old voice actress said the additional pounds put her at her “perfect weight.” She also enjoying taking a more relaxed approach to health than when money was on the line.

“I work out an hour, six days a week. I love classes like SoulCycle,” she said. “I also loosely count calories, but sometimes I might eat an Oreo. It’s not the end of the world.”

Despite receiving criticism for being “too big” and then for being “too small,” Rachel said she wouldn’t opt out of any stage of the experience because “it started a discussion about body image.”
