20th Century Fox has released its first The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie poster! The movie is the third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia movies based on the series of books by C. S. Lewis and will be directed by Michael Apted (Coal Miner’s Daughter, Gorillas in the Mist, Nell, The World Is Not Enough) who replaces the director of the first two Narnia films, Andrew Adamson. (Adamson stayed on as producer.)
Dawn Treader is about the journey of Edmund Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie and their annoying cousin Eustace Scrubb, who find themselves aboard a ship sailing towards the end of the world after being transported through a painting. The three meet up with Caspian X and the warrior mouse Reepicheep as they look for the Lone Islands in an attempt to save Narnia!
The 3-D project is scheduled to be released December 10th.
