Bethenny Frankel’s talk show cancelled after one season
Bethenny Frankel’s self-titled talk show has been cancelled after just one season.
Bethenny, executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, launched last fall after a test run in the summer but never really got off the ground with Deadline citing poor ratings as the main factor for the show’s demise. It will continue to air through May and will be ending its run on good terms.
Frankel said of the news:
“I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures. My entire staff worked so hard and made every day so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day.”
The 43-year-old reality TV star and Skinnygirl mogul’s production company echoed her sentiment:
“While we are disappointed not to be able to bring the series back for a second season, we remain convinced that Bethenny has a unique voice and that she will continue to be successful in the future.”
