Denise Richards to relinquish guardianship of Brooke Mueller’s twins, says they try to kill her dogs

Denise Richards - Brooke Mueller

Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller have been engaged in a public war of words ever since Charlie accused Brooke of being “as awful a parent and a person as you can possibly draw up” last week. Now it seems Denise Richards agrees with Charlie’s accusations — but he still may come out as a loser because Denise says she can no longer care for his 4-year-old twins.

According to TMZ, Denise recently submitted a lengthy letter to L.A. County’s Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) saying she can no longer care for the twin boys Charlie shares with Brooke. Denise has been the temporary guardian of the boys for more than one year. (The top picture is of Denise, Brooke and their children in 2012.)

Sources from DCFS say Denise described horrifying instances where twins Bob and Max go into “zombie-like states” and become extremely violent. Their outbursts often come without warning and the boys have been physically abuse to Denise’s pets and three girls. In one case, her daughter Sam had to go to the doctor after Bob struck her in the face with a toy. The boys also kicked, scratched, spit on and attempted to strangle the girls.

Denise reportedly said she’s tried to explain to the boys that this is wrong, but they are unrepentant. Apparently they’ve told Denise they want to kill her dogs.

Unable to get through to the boys on her own, Denise has supposedly been advised by family doctors to get psychological counseling for the boys. However, Brooke blocked Denise’s attempts to arrange those sessions.

Brooke’s obstruction of Denise’s parenting efforts extends even further: Denise says the boys are extra aggravated after returning from their mother’s house. The way Denise seems to describe it, Bob and Max take two steps back whenever they spend time with Brooke.

Charlie Sheen is going to be a grandparent

After Charlie made similar claims in an interview with TMZ, Brooke’s legal team requested he be held in contempt of court for violating the former couples’ 2011 divorce. In that agreement, Charlie said he would “not disclose to any media sources personal information relating to Brooke’s alleged drug usage.”

However, Denise doesn’t seem to be bound by the same legal loopholes… Which is a good thing if it means she can actually help Bob and Max.
