After dating for nearly 4 years, LuAnn de Lesseps has split from boyfriend Jacques Azoulay.
A rep for The Countess confirmed to Life & Style that The Real Housewives of New York City star is single again.
“They are at different points in their life now and have mutually agreed it’s best. LuAnn is upset, but it’s amicable and they remain friends. Jacques has been a wonderful part of her life.”
LuAnn, 48, had previously discussed her desires to possibly start a family with the French wine distributor. Possible cheating by de Lesseps was part of the RHNYC story line during the ladies’ trip to St. Barths.
UPDATE: Jacques has since said that the breakup was “boring” and was because things had significantly cooled down between the two of them. “The breakup was mutual and actually was just time to turn the page,” he said.
LuAnn, however, emphasized that it was more about her inability to have a family with him. She has since said that her ex husband Count De Lesseps is still in love with her, and believes it’s a possibility that they will get back together. “Never say never,” she told Hollywood Life. “Look, I’m the mother of his children. He’ll always love me. He’s never been able to find anyone after me, ever! We talk all the time.”
