Any fan of The Real Housewives of New York City is familiar with Ramona Singer’s infamous Ramona coaster ride of emotions, but the bug-eyed blond has reportedly taken being “Ramotional” to a whole new level while filming the next season of the Big Apple reality series!
An insider tells Life & Style, “During filming, Ramona [Singer] slapped one of the producers from Shed Media, the company that produces the reality show.” The insider goes on to say, “It got very out of hand. What a way to start off the season, huh!”
Take that Teresa Giudice and Jersey Shore – you aren’t the only ones that can dish out a little physical contact now and then!
Another source for Life & Style seems to suggest Ramona’s emotional problems weren’t isolated to a single incident telling the magazine, “Ramona has been acting out physically and emotionally. Her acting out wasn’t a story line for the show. It’s crazy; everyone involved in the show has been talking about it. What seems to be going on with her lately is unclear, but she’s been very erratic.”

UPDATE – More details are emerging about Ramona’s on-set meltdown. According to Us magazine, Bravo was filming the 53-year-old along with cast mates Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan in Ramona’s New York City apartment when Ramona began to feel “like the producers were ganging up on her,” says one insider. “She literally lost her mind.”
“No one is really sure what exactly spurred her craziness,” the second source tells Us. “But she got herself worked up over filming this scene and one thing led to another, and she punched the producer. Literally.”
Production was stopped after the outburst but the source says the producers are trying to mediate the situation so filming can finish. They were only about a month into shooting Season 4 at the time of Ramona’s attack.
