New York City must have seemed like a scene from the campy SyFy movie Teen Momicane today as young mothers Katie Yeager, Briana DeJesus and Alex Sekella hit The Big Apple to promote their new show Teen Mom 3, which is set to premiere on MTV August 26 at 10/9c. Sadly, the tight band of besties were without their co-star and friend Mackenzie Douthit, who apparently backed out at the last minute after announcing on Monday that she is pregnant with her second child.
I’m sure the three moms were disappointed that they were missing their gal pal, but Katie, Briana and Alex still seemed to be able to have a good time while making the press rounds today, which included photo shoots and interviews with Wetpaint, The Stir, OK! and Us Weekly magazines, and apparently an appearance on MTV Radio. (If you were wondering, YES we are jealous! We think we should have been invited to participate in Teen Mommapalooza too! ***SIGH***)
