Nicolas Cage’s son Weston Cage has been caught up in a downward spiral of violence and mental instability ever since his “honeymoon” with newlywed wife Nikki Williams Cage ended in June. The freefall with a drunken altercation between Weston and his former trainer Kevin Villegas – and altercation in which Weston got his ass beat while the TMZ cameras rolled.
Weston followed that embarrassing incident with a rehab stint, an altercation with his wife in which both were arrested, a reconciliation with Nikki preceded by a series of loony love messages on Facebook, a head shaving, and another arrest after Weston reportedly attacked himself. Now the black metal rocker and aspiring UFC fighter has returned to rehab where (thanks to the magic of Facebook) we all get a first-hand glimpse into his “recovery.”

On July 20 Weston posted the foreboding announcement “im making a final change,” which was followed a couple days later by the garbled message “i didsd my pawrt. wyh cant i here bak d from my family mnow. nikkii? mandy, ANYONE!!!1” He later commented on that post by clarifying, “im comitted in a in patient program. i changed fjr kf weife,” and then typing “on heavy meds.”
So what’s a seriously troubled person in rehab doing on Facebook? Weston later explains, “[I] worked my ass of for my right to use the computer at this center.”
So I’m going to continue my diligent documentation of the virtual writings of Weston Cage, with this next installment being titled “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Hawks.” The following is a chronological collection of most of the things posted by Weston on his and other Facebook pages since his self-admission into a rehab facility – arranged in chronological order.
