Anthony Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin photos and video
As Anthony Weiner’s numerous online indiscretions play out in the media the spotlight is bound to shift from his infamous bulge to his exotically beautiful, and very private, wife Huma Abedin. No stranger to the world of politics, Huma is deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and served as Clinton’s traveling chief of staff during her 2008 presidential campaign.
UPDATE – The New York Times is reporting that Huma is pregnant! CLICK HERE to read all about it!

Ironically, it was Bill Clinton (no stranger to extra-marital dilly-dalliances and denials) who presided over the couple’s marriage at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York on July 10, 2010 who cracked a very prescient joke about Huma marrying a politician, stating that it is “easy to distrust them, whatever their religion.”
The “whatever their religion” is in reference to one of the many stark differences between Huma and Weiner. In addition to Weiner passion for being in the spotlight and Huma’s desire to remain behind the scenes, the two differ culturally in that Weiner is a Jewish man from Brooklyn while Huma Abedin is a Muslim of Indian and Pakistani descent born in Michigan and raised in Saudi Arabia.

From The New York Times:
He is a fiery, publicity-craving wisecracker with a reputation as a Romeo and a habit of turning up in the tabloids. He can be overbearing and intense and pushes his staff and himself unrelentingly.
She is calm, private and glamorous, with a sense of elegance that has earned her attention from fashion magazines. Her close friend Oscar de La Renta designed her chiffon wedding gown, likening her to Scheherazade, the beautiful queen from “One Thousand and One Nights.”

When Anthony Weiner called his press conference yesterday to confess his propensity for talking dirty and exchanging elicit messages with strangers online and on the telephone many were wondering if Huma Abedin would be there by his side. As you probably know, Huma was not there for the press conference and has of yet not issued a statement regarding her husband’s apology.
It was while apologizing to Huma that Anthony Weiner seemed to be the most emotional, saying:
At the outset, I’d like to make it clear that I have made terrible mistakes that have hurt the people I care about the most, and I’m deeply sorry. …
I am deeply sorry for the pain this has caused my wife, Huma, and our family, and my constituents, my friends, supporters and staff. …
I brought pain to people I care about the most and the people who believed in me, and for that I’m deeply sorry. I apologize to my wife and our families, as well as to our friends and supporters.
Later he addressed whether he and Huma would be staying together by stating:
We have no intention of splitting over this … We will weather this … I love her, she loves me.

It should be interesting to see how Huma Abedin and and Anthony Weiner’s relationship plays out. Although we don’t know whether she will stay in the marriage or not, there is one thing that we do know: Huma will handle herself with elegance and class throughout.
UPDATE – Huma Abedin is currently with Hillary Clinton as she tours the Middle East and Africa and tells friends she is “saddened” but “committed” to her marriage. She has reportedly turned to her boss for advice, which seems appropriate given Hillary Clinton’s vast amount of experience with marital infidelities. It is also being reported that Anthony Weiner came clean about his online sexting fetish prior to the couple getting married, but said it was all behind him.
