Yesterday, TLC dropped the first preview trailer for 90 Day Fiance Season 6, featuring six completely new couples looking to “hop the wall” for love. Being certified 90 Daytectives here at Starcasm, that meant it was time to go to work on digging up some spoilers! We already shared some details on Jonathan and Fernanda (in our post with the trailer linked above), and now we can spill the tea on Ashley and her Jamaican beau Jay!
As a refresher, 32-year-old Ashley was the very attractive blonde woman from Pennsylvania who responded to a gal pal concerned about Jay’s promiscuous ways in the preview trailer by boldly stating: “If Jesus came down from heaven right now and said he cheated on me, I wouldn’t do anything about it.”
And Jay was the smooth, lanky Jamaican who had no problem opening up emotionally with his fiancée to let her know just how great their lives were going to be if their K-1 application went through. “If this visa is approved tomorrow,” he told her in the clip, “I’m gonna be right here in your bed, giving you the ‘d’ every day.” Awwww!!
So, how did things turn out? Is Jay currently giving Ashley the “d” every day here in America?
The answer appears to be yes! According to their wedding registry, Jay and Ashley tied the knot on May 26 in Ashley’s hometown of Mechanicsburg. Ashley’s daughter Roxy served as her maid of honor, and Ashley’s gal pal Natalie from the preview trailer was one of four bridesmaids.
Another of Ashley’s friends excitedly confirmed the nuptials on Facebook after sharing the preview trailer and revealing that she would be on the show with Ashley. In the comments, a self-professed huge fan of the show expressed her disbelief, demanding to know if Ashley’s friend was serious.
“Yes my best friend married a Jamaican,” Ashley’s friend replied, adding: “It’s her show!”
The conversation continued:
COMMENTER: omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to see your silly ass on tv!! I know your going to make sure your lookin good !!! Lol are they gettin paid?!
ASHLEY’S FRIEND: yes girl!!! ?? & Yesssssssss!
COMMENTER: what?!!!!! How much do they get paid to do sh!t like that?
ASHLEY’S FRIEND: trust me a Decent amount because when you watch you will see why lol ?
And just in case you needed more “proof,” Ashley changed her last name to Jay’s on Classmates.com. I’m not sure why that was a priority, but there you go.
Speaking of Classmates.com, I ran across some photos of Ashley from high school, and I simply HAD to include them here!
I keep liking Ashley more and more! 🙂

In addition to the marriage spoilers, I also gathered up some more information on Ashley and Jay. Jay is a 20-year-old tattoo artist from Jamaica with an overabundance of confidence and flair. And don’t think for a second that he isn’t ready to embrace the spotlight once he makes his debut on the show! In addition to numerous posts about the trailer full of bravado, he has also added “#90dayfiance STAR?” to his Instagram bio.
Ashley seems ready, too. She responded to a fan’s concern over the potential negativity headed her way by writing on Instagram: “I’m not concerned! Anyone who takes time out of their day to compliment or roast us I take as a compliment ☺️”
That comment was on a video clip of Jay proposing to her, which happened on stage at a resort in Jamaica. Here’s the video:

While vacationing in Jamaica for a friend’s wedding, I met the love of my life. We dated six months before getting engaged, in front of a ton of people, at a resort we were vacationing at. Jay had me called on stage thinking they were doing something special for my birthday when he surprisingly popped the big question. After a long year of many trips to Jamaica, and a major headache dealing with visa challenges, we have finally made it to our big day! We are crazy in love and know that god had big plans for us meeting so unexpectedly countries apart. We are beyond excited to share such a special day with all of you!
With the marriage, Jay becomes stepdad to Ashley’s two children. In addition to her 10-year-old daughter Roxy, Ashley also has a son who looks to be just a couple years younger. It’s unknown just how involved their dad(s) is, or whether or not the kids will be featured this season.
On one other random note: Ashley’s TLC bio mentions that she has been engaged twice before. While researching her online, I ran across her previous wedding registry, with a listed date of October 17, 2015.
