90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After star Paola Mayfield has received a good deal of criticism from viewers this season, and she took to Instagram to respond to some of the most common issues and questions that seem to come up — including her continued friendship with Juan, her “delusional” career, and her husband Russ Mayfield’s seemingly unending jealousy over her continuing to pose for photos and videos that he considers “too sexy.”
Pao delivered her message (or should I say mASSage) with an attention-grabbing photo of herself in a thong bikini with her ca-rear end on full display. (Image above has been Russified by us.) “I hope this photo gets your attention!” she captioned the photo, before moving on to addressing the haters with her answers to three frequently asked questions:
Did my husband ever get over me taking photos like this?
Well, yes an no but it doesn’t affect him as much as some of you. He accepts me, loves me and respects me the way I am and lets me work even when he is not 100% comfortable. We fight and we make up. Girls talk like never they fight with their spouses ? talking about me not being a “good wife” just because the gigs I take are “too sexy” but let’s be honest, none of you have seen photos of me completely naked or rumors of me being unfaithful to my husband. My only “sin” is my work ? God will be the only one judging me, not wanna be perfects!
Why do I not end up my friendship with Juan?
It is easy to say it but you wouldn’t call it a friendship if you don’t care about someone after 16 years of friendship and without trying to make it work. I don’t have many friends, maybe because I don’t trust people that easy and I am ok with that but giving up part of my life and past isn’t easy for me. I love my husband but I also love my friends. My life didn’t end when I got married, it was the beginning of a new chapter.
My “delusional” modeling and acting career.
This is one is easy. I really don’t know why people care so much if I model or act at my age. Is it your business if I succeed or fail? No. Is it your life? No. I’m living my life to the fullest and I’m having so much fun with all that I do! My conscience is clear and clean ❤️ Just happy that I’m doing great and I’m chasing my dreams ?

Paola’s Colombian soap opera co-star Juan showed up in the comments section to respond to Pao’s post, as well as some of the other comments. The comments are all in Spanish, so I ran them through Google translate. The results were sometimes nonsensical, but pretty much every time hilarious! My favorites are when a commenter calls Juan “the wave” (which is a positive thing?) and when another suggested that Juan just wants “the Russ eat you the canoe.”
Here are some of the translated interactions:
JUAN: Wow love what you said and you are absolutely right in everything! Enjoy and follow that for all of us you are already triumphing! @paola_mayfield I love you arepiticos
PAOLA: Juan is that I love you so badly how are you ??

[*Juan used the term “patan” which Google could not translate. I did some additional research and found this forum, which reveals that it essentially means hick or yokel or something similar.]
COMMENT: Obvious that there are people that I do not like but ignore the situation if it depends on the happiness of my friend.
JUAN: I only show that he does not like me, I do not care if she continues or does not continue with him, in short, she is my friend, not him, besides, I just enjoy disturbing him!

Meanwhile, I think I may have buried the lede with all the attention this post gives to Pao’s FAQ and the resulting comments because the BIG story from Pao and Russ this week is that he cut his hair!!!
