20-year-old Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso arrested for DUI

Say it ain’t so Oliver “Smokin” Oken alias Mike Standley III! 20-year-old Mitchel Musso, best known for his role in the Miley Cyrus mega-hit Disney show Hannah Montana was arrested in Burbank, California yesterday under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Musso got the blue light special at around 3:43 AM Sunday morning after he failed to slow down for officers who were directing traffic for a separate accident (things are dangerous around there). Mitchel was pulled over in his 2007 black Mercedes Benz when the police noticed “a strong odor” of cold beverages kid wasn’t old enough to be drankin’.

Sources for TMZ report that Musso, who also stars in other Disney shows Pair of Kings and PrankStars, was administered a field sobriety test and didn’t do so well. He was also given a breathalyzer test and registered over the 21+ legal limit of .08.

We’re glad no one was seriously hurt based on Musso’s apparently poor judgment. He was booked on suspicion of DUI and bail was set at $5,000. I’m guessing the residing MC of Hannah Montana will have to break down with an under-aged drinking rap now. I hope his mom doesn’t go all mashugana on the boy.
