Amber Portwood explains why Forever Haute clothes are available on other sites

Teen Mom OG Amber Portwood Forever Haute boutique controversy

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood recently launched her online clothing boutique at BeForeverHaute.com, and the response online has been overwhelmingly positive. There was a bit of confusion, however, after it was pointed out that some of her Forever Haute looks were available on other websites — some times for much less.

Here is one example from Twitter:

I did some searching on my own and came up with multiple sites offering the same dress with the exact same photo — albeit at a similar price to Amber’s ($82.99):

One of the sites (RedVelvetVintage.com) even had additional photos of the dress on the same model and photos of it on another model — neither of which are on Amber’s site:

After the confusion was brought to Amber’s attention, she took to Twitter to explain:

Hi loves! So I’m getting a lot of questions about my clothes. I need people to understand this is a boutique and I have all rights to the models I use because I go straight to the brand. People will take these pics illegally and send you a completely different product which has happened to me many times!! Lol so understand these are 4-5 star clothes straight from the retailer. You have to have a business license IRS Id among other things. So please don’t buy something for cheaper and get something completely different. Sending love everyone ?

UPDATE – An anti-Jenelle Twitter account retweeted the side-by-side photos above (with the $14 listing) and claimed that Amber was buying clothes from wish.com and reselling them through her boutique. Amber shared this angry reply, which threatened legal action:

In addition to her clarification about the multiple listings, Amber also recently revealed that she hopes to follow in Teen Mom OG co-star Farrah Abraham’s footsteps by offering children’s clothes:

There’s no word if Amber’s daughter Leah will have the power to hire and fire people. 😉

But wait! That’s not all you get with Amber! (My nod to TV salesmanship.) She is also looking to launch a charity benefiting women in need:

It’s starting to look like Farrah and Maci have some serious competition for top Teen Momtrepreneur! Catelynn may need to step up her game!
