Miley Cyrus clarifies why she’s really in the hospital

Miley Cyrus Hospitalization

Miley Cyrus is sick… And tired of the rumors about that sickness.

“So many ignorant stories out there no one is reading the official statement and these dumb a**es are scaring my fans,” Miley tweeted this afternoon, following exaggerated reports about her health and what led to her hospitalization. She added, “Shut the f**k up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans.”

She also shared a screen-caputured note detailing what led to the hospitalization…

Miley Cyrus Health Statement

That reads in full: Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed antibiotic Cephalexin which she’s now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing fans.”

According to the National Library of Medicine, negative reactions to Cephalexin may include severe skin rash, itching, hives, difficulty breathing or swallowing, wheezing, unusual bleeding or bruising, sore throat and painful mouth or throat sores.

Obviously none of that is fun… And to have people questioning whether she’s telling the truth on top of that? Doesn’t sound like Miley’s best week. Hopefully by clearing this up she will be able to focus on her health.
