Willie Robertson, A&E confirm a 4th Season of Duck Dynasty

A few weeks ago there was a report on a salary stand-off between the stars of Duck Dynasty and A&E. Well fear not beard lovers, Willie Robertson and A&E have both confirmed there will be an upcoming 4th season of the most popular reality show on cable.

The Season 3 finale’s ratings were more insane than one of Uncle Si’s stories about Vietnam. All in all, the episode brought in over 9.6 million viewers and absolutely destroyed American Idol, which was the top-rated network show for that night. Those are some gaudy numbers and negotiations or not, it was clear that A&E had to do all it could to bring the Robertsons back to the small screen.

Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson tweeted out the good news:

A&E also confirmed a Season 4 in a press release as they stated, “Production will begin shortly on the fourth season, which is slated to premiere later in 2013.”

I guess we’ll all have to lean back in our camo recliners and hurry up and wait to see what kind of shenanigans the boys will be getting into next time around. But at least we know it’s coming, and it’s an irrefutable fact that the world is just a better place when Silas Robertson is on the T.V..
