Which Twilight star got a HUGE Heinz ketchup bottle leg tattoo?
In potentially regretful celebrity tattoo news, Twilight actor Jackson Rathbone decided to celebrate his inner vampire with a tattoo of the world’s best blood alternative… ketchup! (In the Cullenverse, Tru Blood hasn’t been invented yet.)
The 27-year-old Rathbone unveiled the iconic bottle of Heinz catsup during his recent appearance on The Wendy Williams show:
“Do you have a bunch of tattoos as well?” Wendy asks.
“I have a few, yeah,” Jackson replies, as he rubs his chin coyly.” He then begins to roll up his pants leg as he says, “This is the latest one,” at which point he unveils the massive Tatsup.
“Oh my God!” Wendy exclaims. “Are you serious? Heinz ketchup?”
“Yeah,” Jackson says. “Heinz. There you go.”
A perplexed Wendy asks the obvious, “Now what made you get that catsup bottle on your leg?”
“I hate ketchup,” he joked at first, before adding, “No, no, I love catsup. I got a lot of flack for it growing up from my family. My dad would always say ‘Do you want a little burger with that ketchup?’ I was like ‘Dad I hate that joke’.”
No word yet on when Jackson plans on getting the matching French’s mustard tattooed on his left leg!
***AUTHOR’S NOTE – I realize that the spirited political divide in this country is nothing compared to the impassioned proponents of either “catsup” or “ketchup” as the proper spelling for this wondrous condiment. With that in mind, I attempted to be as unbiased as I could by splitting the spellings right down the middle, although it could be argued (and probably will) that spelling it with a “k” in the title might imply I have a bias. I assure you I do not. The title spelling was determined by coin flip with a notary public present!
