VIDEOS: Randy Moss old school Vikings highlights

ESPN’s insider extraordinaire Adam Schefter is confirming that Randy Moss is being traded from the Patriots back to his original team the Minnesota Vikings.

This is one of the biggest and surprising in-season trades in NFL history.  The often controversial Moss still has the ability to dominate and when he was on with Tom Brady there wasn’t a better quarterback receiver combo to ever play the game.  The Vikings have been hurting for a big play receiver since the prolonged injury to Sidney Rice.

Message boards are on fire with Vikings fan’s excitement in anticipation of Moss’s return.  As a Viking, Moss was the most unstoppable force at wide receiver in the game, including arguably the greatest rookie season in NFL history.  Here is his stat-line from that first-year campaign back in 1998:

Vikings fans are hoping that Moss will rekindle a little bit of that old magic and help aging quarterback Bret Favre and perennial MVP candidate Adrian Peterson over the hump and on to Superbowl glory.  But enough with the info, here is a collection of highlights back when Randy Moss tore it up in ‘Sota!
