With the help of Sandra Bullock (Gravity,) Tom Hanks (Captain Phillips) recreated the iconic giant piano scene from Big on the British talk show The Jonathan Ross Show.
In the 1998 comedy, Hanks played a young boy trapped in a man’s body after he makes a wish to be “big.” The character Josh has a chance meeting with the owner of toy company FAO Schwartz, and impresses him with his childlike enthusiasm and ideas. He lands a high-paying job with the company developing new toys, and a big part of why he landed the job is because he played “Chopsticks” on a giant piano in the flagship NYC store.
