Mt Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Way Thore received some big fat fabulous bruises this week after being brutally tossed about on a Hawaiian jungle tour!
The TLC star shared the first photo of her Hawaiinjury on Thursday:
Initially, Whitney didn’t reveal anything about the cause of her Hawaiinjury, and captioned the photo with: “Don’t ask how I got the bruises…?”
I’m guessing Whitney’s plea for a lack of injury inquiry went unheeded as her next Facebook post was a video clip of the bruise-inducing safari bouncefest that caused it all:
I was kind of laughing along with Whitney as the joltiness continued to increase, but by the end it was pretty disturbing! (You can see Glenn and Babs sitting a row up at the end, though — so that made me smile.)
Whitney shared a couple more photos of her gruesome bruise, including this one:
“If you do the jungle tour at Kualoa Ranch, DON’T SIT IN THE BACK! ?” Whitney advised.
Late Friday, Whitney said alhoa (the goodbye variety) with a majestic profile pic in which her vacay memento is clearly visible:
“It’s been real (and really nice),” wrote Whitney. “Hawaii! Aloha! ??”
I did a little research and found the Kualoo Ranch website, which describes their jungle tour this way:
Jump on board for an adventurous jungle tour deep into Oahu’s beautiful Hakipu`u “Jurassic” Valley. Guests board one of our jungle vehicles for a 90 minute tour that rumbles through a Hawaiian rainforest along jungle trails, through isolated stream beds and powers up steep, bumpy hills. On this tour you will also see a few famous movie site locations and sets (from Jurassic World) and a few other surprises!
On the tour, guests experience secluded spots that overlook Oahu’s eastern coastline and see our 800 year old ancient Hawaiian fishpond. You will also get a glimpse of some of the areas used to shoot the new Jurassic World movie!
Although there is no warning about the joltiness of the ride specifically, there is this cautionary message:
Restrictions: Minimum age is 3 years old. Guests with back problems and expectant mothers are not advised to participate in this tour.
And here’s a nice, soothing, peaceful video of people not almost dying on the tour:
