Here’s Kim Kardashian ahead of her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday. I’m definitely more in the “comfort over style” boat than Kim, but her corset top looks particularly painful. I just hope the outfit was worth it…
Anyways. On the show, she talked with Jimmy about her May wedding to Kanye West. When she was last on the show, she dropped the supposedly big bombshell about them planning to wed in France. When it came down to it, they just had the rehearsal dinner at Versailles before doing the actual ceremony in Florence.
“We kind of wanted everyone to be on this love journey with us, because we fell in love in Paris and then I got pregnant with our daughter in Florence,” she said. “I think everyone just really had an amazing time.”
When Jimmy pressed her on whether anyone had too amazing of a time, Kim admitted Khloe Kardashian “drank a little too much” the night before the wedding.
“I had to wake her up and she was laying down sleeping, getting her makeup done for the wedding,” Kim said. “I was just praying that she will get up in time to walk down the aisle… She was so hungover.”
Although hubby Kanye recently said it didn’t “even matter” who showed up to the wedding, Kim said the last-minute no-shows did cause a bit a drama — especially because she and Kanye already had the would-be guests’ names engraved in a large marble tabletop.
“We tried to put white paint and cover the name,” she said without naming any names. (Cough, Beyonce and Jay-Z, cough.)
Despite exposing Kanye’s teeny fib, Kim agreed it was “the most amazing experience just to be able to share it with so many family members and friends.” It also looks like their newlywed life is going better than the tabloids would have us believe: Kim and Kanye recently passed the 72-day mark, which is when she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries.
